Bévau B&B / Gîte - in Lorraine... and so close to Champagne

Lovers of the French countryside, culture and way of life – Bévau B&B / Gîte warmly welcomes you!

Bévau B&B / Gîte is easily accessible from Calais by A2 and A5, from Anvers by E4111 and A31, from Mastricht by A25 and A31, or from Cologne by B51 and A31.

We are situated in Trampot, a small village between Nancy and Dijon, or more precisely between Joinville and Domremy-la Pucelle – the former linked to Mary Queen of Scots, the latter the birthplace of Joan of Arc.

Savour the art of French living

Bévau B&B / Gîte is an old house situated in the calm of an alleyway. With a living room, a bedroom looking out onto the garden terrasse and a private bathroom, the property functions either as self-catering cottage (gîte) or B&B. It displays a charming mixture of original rustic features, such as exposed wooden beams and a large fireplace, and stylish furniture made my by local carpenters. The well equipped kitchen opening onto the living room features EXYD-M® facings, stainless steel panels which can be found in some of the most prestigious buildings worldwide.

Everything is on ground floor level and thus wheelchair friendly, cleaned with ecologically friendly cleaning products for the benefit of your health.

At the very heart of a French village

Bévau B&B / Gîte is situated in the heart of a typical French village with buildings dating back as far as the 16th century, but also buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries.

The house is at just a few steps from the village church, the impressive 18th-century Church of Sts Peter and Paul, and the traditional combined town hall and school from the 19th century.

Together with the villagers of Trampot you can take part in various local events, such as the French National Day on 14th of July or the European cultural heritage days in September.

Far from noise, close to nature

Bévau B&B / Gîte is situated in a quiet alleyway. You will sleep well and recharge your batteries, far from the noise and stress of the city. Separated from the main house, the accommodation is at the other end of a garden where flowers and vegetables grow together. You will thus enjoy your own corner of the garden with a terrace and a BBQ.

An area steeped in history

Bévau B&B / Gîte is located in Eastern France in the County of Vosges, bordering on the Champagne Ardenne. The village of Trampot is only a few kilometers from the originally Roman village of Grand, boasting an amazing amphitheater and a large Roman mosaic. Historic remains of farm houses, fortified castles and mansions, Romanesque and Gothic churches – they all help us trace the history of our region.

Meadows, fields and vast forests

From the village of Trampot where Bévau B&B / Gîte is located, you will have the opportunity to experince the variety that is so characteristic of the French landscape. Highlands with open fields, meadows and vast forests, valleys that are either hidden or widely open areas, as in the valleys of the rivers of Meuse or Marne. This landscape is perfect for walking, biking and enjoying nature.
